A little about me and how I got here

Curious to know what I did in my past life? I went to school at Elon University in North Carolina for Special Education and Elementary Education. I love children and loved to teach others, so this seemed like the perfect combination.

After graduating, I moved to Northern Virginia, right outside of Washington DC and taught first grade at Fairfax County Public Schools. I loved the students and teaching, but the stress and anxiety along with the craziness of the public education system was draining.

I moved back to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania close to where I grew up and loved being close to my family.

After getting married and starting our family, I knew that I needed a change. I didn't want to be stuck on a school schedule, working crazy hours before and after school, all while having to leave my new little baby. That's when Virtually Jara was born.

I began as a general VA, learning the ropes of email marketing, content creation, and was able to help many teachers with their online businesses. I found the perfect combination of things that I loved: education and technology.

Moving into the Kajabi world has been a perfect transition for me. I've met some wonderful women who are killing it in their online businesses. I can't wait to help you, too!
